Earlier this year Louisville was banned from the post season. They got in trouble for having prostitutes sleep with the incoming recruits. It happened a couple of years ago, but they are just now getting caught. They are having a hard time recruiting new athletes this year because of what happened. Once they figured out that they were banned this year, there season didn't mean much. No matter how good they did during the regular season, it didn't matter because they weren't allowed to participate in March Madness. I already hate Louisville because Kentucky and Louisville have a huge rivalry. The coach for Louisville was the ex coach for Kentucky, so they go hard against each other. I think the Louisville basketball program is a piece of poo anyways. This is exactly why Kentucky wins the Battle of the Bluegrass.

Kentucky is trying to recruit a very good player. His name is Marques Bolden and I really hope we get him. Duke is also going after him and I hate Duke so I hope he doesn't go there. It's between Duke and Kentucky and I obviously want him to go to Kentucky. Duke had too many recruits and there Coach made one of their players transfer to open up a spot for Bolden. If we don't get him, it won't be the end of the world. We already have a lot of amazing recruits, but having him would really put us over the edge. I can't wait to watch all of our new recruits play. We are going to be so good. Mark my words, we will be in the Final Four.

College basketball is officially over. I am super sad because it's my favorite time of the year. I love Kentucky basketball so much and I am already ready for next season. I can't explain my passion for UK. It may sound weird, but that's just because I am a die hard fan. We are most definitely going to a boys game next year. It is very hard to get tickets and good seats because everyone and their dog wants to go. We are going to be very good next year and I am super excited. I have been to a girls game at Rupp Arena, so now I need to go to a boys game. My dream is to go to Big Blue Madness. You have to camp out for tickets though and clearly I don't live there so I can't go. Its just a dream of mine. Hopefully I go to school there and can go to all the games I want to.

I am super depressed because Kentucky basketball is over until next year. :( We lost in the second round game in Indiana. I was really disappointed because it's never fun when your season ends. A lot of our players are declaring for the NBA and that makes me sad. Also our senior, Alex Poythress, is done and that makes me really sad. When you're as big as a fan as I am, you feel like you're apart of the team every step of the way and you never want the season to end. I get so attached to the team and it crushes me when they lose. We have the number one recruiting class coming in and I am already excited next for next year. I went to Kentucky over spring break and bought some new gear and I'm ready for next season already. We are going to a boys game next year and I can't wait. I just wish they would of won it all this year but, oh whale.

I am so, so depressed. Kentucky lost to Indiana in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. I knew from the get go that it would be a tough game and a dog fight until the end, and that's exactly what it was. It was a close game all game but we just fell short. Indiana definitely played better than we did and they totally deserved to win, I just wish it would of ended up different. Tyler Ulis (best PG in all of College basketball and best PG in the history of UK) is leaving to enter the NBA Draft. Alex Poythress (Senior) is leaving and Jamal Murray (Freshman Guard) will also most likely be entering the NBA Draft. Jamal and Tyler were the best back court in college basketball this year and it's going to be really sad to see them leave. Tears were definitely shed and I am more than upset that their season is over, but on the bright side, UK has the number one recruiting class coming in next year and we do have some good players coming back as well. We are still the most winning-est program in all of college basketball and if I can get over last years loss in the Final Four (a perfect season on the line) and all seven of our star players leave for the draft, I can get over this loss. 214 days until Big Blue Madness and counting. I'm already ready for next season!!

I am so livid over March Madness. The committee is JANK. Kentucky beat Texas A & M for the SEC Championship and they are STILL ranked higher than us. There is no way they should be a three and we should be a four. Oregon is a number one and Michigan State isn't? We are in the toughest bracket there is. UNC, Indiana, WVU, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and UK? If we win our first round game, we will most likely be playing Indiana in a second round game. THAT IS MESSED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is going to be tough for any team to get past these teams. It is definitely going to be a wild March Madness. I really hope we do good and win it all, but if we don't I'm not going to be too upset. We have a really good recruiting class coming in next year and we aren't as amazing and having a perfect season like last years team so it won't be such a let down.

Kentucky played Florida on Tuesday and they won! I was super happy because its the end of regular season and its moving into the SEC Tournament and we have to win to continue the streak. We are first in the SEC right now and I hope to keep it that way. March Madness starts in twelve days and I'm super pumped. I love filling out the bracket and seeing if I'm right. Last year I won the bracket in med term class and got a gift card to Taco Bell. I think it through hardcore and it takes me about an hour to fill it out. I hope Kentucky makes it to the ship but there are some real good teams out there. UNC, Kansas, Ohio State and some others might give us a run for our money. Two years ago we made it to the championship and lost and then last year we made it to the Final Four and lost. I really want to win it all this year, so fingers crossed. We're playing really good right now so I hope we keep it up.

Kentucky lost to Texas A and M on Saturday in the last four seconds of overtime. It was whack that we lost anyway and I'll tell you why. Issac Humphries (7ft tall forward) got the rebound with nine seconds left to go and he was also fouled. He was so excited that he slammed the ball down. Well, slamming the ball down is "un-sportsman like" and he got a technical foul called on him. He knew that he was in the wrong as soon as he did it, even though he didn't mean anything rude by it. He tried to change the refs mind but it didn't work. That was also his fifth foul because technical's count as personal fouls, so he fouled out. We were up by two at this point with nine seconds to go and if he wouldn't of fouled out, he would of made both his free throws for sure because he is a decent shooter. Instead, Skal had to come in and he missed on and made on so we're up still. A & M had two to shoot as well for the technical and made one and missed one. They also got the ball and the last four seconds they made a block shot off a rebound and they won. It was total jank because we should of won. I'm hoping we don't drop in the polls too much.

College basketball has been nothing less than exciting lately. Kentucky has been hot lately. They're going on a win streak right now and that makes me super happy. They're ranked number nine right now and that's a lot better than last weeks ranking when they were twenty. UNC played Duke last night and they were up the whole entire game by at least eight, and then Duke went on a 14-5 run to end the game and they won by one point. It was 75-74. Duke and UNC are both my least favorite teams in the NCAA so really it was a lose lose situation for me. Hannah is a UNC fan so I was rooting for them to win for her, but they couldn't pull out the win. It was Michael Jordan's birthday (UNC Alumn) and multiple other alumni were there as well. They were also playing on their home turf so it was a real disappointment they lost.

Kentucky won this weekend against Florida so that's good. We still lost to Tennessee before that after we were up twenty-one points so that sucks. UNC lost to Notre Dame on the road though on college game day so that makes me happy. Notre Dame is a really hard road game though. Last year we played them in the Elite Eight and it came down to the very last couple of seconds and we only won by two points. It was super close and I was pooping my pants I was so nervous we were going to lose. Duke won this weekend which is stupid but whatever. Villanova is now ranked number one which is so weird because all of the top teams just keep on dropping. No one is staying number one for a long period of time besides at the beginning of the season when Michigan State was number one for a couple of weeks. Last year UK was number one the whole season. We didn't drop until the Final Four game when we lost to Wisconsin, then we dropped to three for the postseason. It's just crazy how many upsets can happen and the underdogs can when. That's what I love about college basketball, you can be up twenty-one points (cough cough Kentucky) and then lose by two. It's just crazy

Kentucky took a tough loss this weekend. We played Kansas on the road and it went in to overtime and we ended up losing by six points. Yes it sucks we lost, but we haven't been doing so hot lately and this shows that we can hang with the big dogs. This proves that we can be tournament ready by March. One thing I am excited about is Duke fell out of the AP top 25 and that's the first time that's happened in eight years and I hate Duke so that's always nice. UNC is ranked number one which kinda sucks cause I don't like them either but what're you gonna do. We moved up to #19 and that's improvement so I'm happy. I just hope we keep on movin up.

I am so annoyed with Kentucky Basketball right now. We are ranked 20 in the AP poll!!!!! THAT IS SO ANNOYING!! We are so much better than that. However, I am thankful that we are moving up in the poll. Last week we were ranked 23rd, so we are getting better, but still. It's so very frustrating we aren't all that good because last year we were so good. North Carolina hasn't lost in the last twelve games they've played, and they're ranked 2? That's very weird because all the other top ten teams lost this week and they didn't, and they're still ranked number 2. I really thought they would be 1 overall. I mean I'm glad they aren't because I don't like UNC but still, they should technically be number one. Duke is ranked 24 though and that makes me very happy because I can't stand Puke haha :)

I am really upset with my team right now. We are ranked 23rd in the nation.... that is so embarrassing. We haven't been ranked that low in over three years. We did win last night though so we should move up in the rankings a little bit. North Carolina is kicking butt right now and I hate that because that's Han's team and we go head to head with our teams. Last year we smoked them and now they're awesome. I really hope we get better by March because the national championship is in 73 days and I plan on our team being there. Kansas and Oklahoma are pretty good right now too. We play Saturday so let's hope we win.

Kentucky played tonight against Mississippi State. It wasn't a close game at all. We held the lead to at lease fifteen points most of the game. We're not as good as we were last year though so we kept losing the lead to about seven or eight points, and then it would get back up to around fifteen or sixteen. Our players just aren't as tough as they were last year. We are a really young team and they need to find their groove. Last year we lost one game all season and this year we have already lost three. It's kind of upsetting but it's so rare to have a team like last years team. I think that as it gets closer to March we will be better and prepared for the tournament. As long as Skal gets tougher and Briscoe can start making his shots/free throws. I am so excited for March Madness already!!

College basketball is my favorite sport to watch in the whole entire world. I watch it all the time and it doesn't matter what team it is, I'll still watch it. My favorite team is the Kentucky Wildcats. My family and I are HUGE fans. We watch every single game together. Our bathroom is decorated in Kentucky, half of my wardrobe is Kentucky and we went to the Final Four practices in Indianapolis last year. It was the best day ever. You could say we are die hard fans. It actually really bothers us when other people where Kentucky clothes and they aren't a fan and don't watch the games. Half the people that wear Kentucky clothes don't even know how to spell Kentucky. I just love watching basketball and in my opinion, College basketball is ten times better than the NBA.
